Bridget Kearney is an acoustic bass player and songwriter living in Brooklyn, NY. She is in the enviable position of playing in more great bands than she really has time for. She writes songs frequently and allocates them to her bands based on which band has a rehearsal coming up next. She is the winner of the 2006 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for Lake Street Dive's "Sometimes When I'm Drunk and You're Wearing My Favorite Shirt." She was recently pictured on the front page of The New York Times playing bass in a pink gorilla costume. Bridget was
born and raised in Iowa City, IA and went to college in Boston, MA,
